A passenger screener at Philadelphia International Airport is facing charges that he distributed more than 100 images of child pornography via Facebook, records show. Federal agents also allege that Transportation Safety Administration Officer Thomas Gordon Jr. of Philadelphia, who routinely searched airline passengers, uploaded explicit pictures of young girls to an Internet site on which he also posted a photograph of himself in his TSA uniform.

A 46-year-old Philadelphia International Airport passenger screener is in hot water for allegedly distributing more than 100 pornographic images of children through Facebook, Philly.com reports. TSA officer Thomas Gordon Jr. was charged and arrested on March 24. Gordon, who reportedly searched airline passengers frequently, allegedly uploaded explicit pictures of girls to a website where he also had a photo of himself dressed in his TSA uniform.

But Michael Levy, Assistant U.S. Attorney, says when the 46-year-old Philadelphia man was off the job, he was looking at and sharing pictures and videos the judge calls “horrific.” “He had images of sexual victimization of children,” Levy described. Images that added up to more than 600 on his home computer. The victims were as young as six.
